Understanding The Virgin Birth
According to scripture, is Joseph the father of Yache according to the flesh?
-
Through the review of the law and testimonies, the answer to this question can be found. Isaiah the prophet was shown the Lord’s journey from the 7th heaven into the earth and all that he would do in his days on the earth.
Ascension of Isaiah 3:13
13. For Beliar was in very angry against Isaiah because of the vision, and because of the exposure with which he had exposed Sammael, and that through him there had been revealed the coming of the Beloved from the seventh heaven, and his transformation, and his descent, and the form into which he must be transformed, namely the form of a man, and the persecution with which he would be persecuted, and the torturers with which the children of Israel must torment Him, and the coming of the twelve disciples, and the teaching, and that before the Sabbath he must be crucified on a tree, and be crucified with wicked men, and that He would be buried in a grave,
-
Isaiah, having seen that the Lord was to be transformed into the form of a man, helps us understand what transpired concerning the birth of Christ according to the flesh. According to Scripture, man is formed from the seed (sperm) of a Man in the womb of a woman through the pleasure of intimacy.
Wisdom of Solomon 7:1
I myself also am a mortal man, like to all, and the offspring of him that was first made of the earth,
(All men are the offspring of Adam because we come from his seed through his sons in our respective genealogies.)
Wisdom of Solomon 7:2
And in my mother's womb was fashioned to be flesh in the time of ten months, being compacted in blood, of the seed of man, and the pleasure that came with sleep.
-
The pleasure from sleep is intercourse, from which “the seed of man” known to us today as “sperm,” is produced by the man. Men were given wives from the beginning to impregnate them.
Enoch 15:5
5. Therefore have I given them wives also that they might impregnate them, and beget children by them, that thus nothing might be wanting to them on earth
-
The seed of Man is an “ill smelling drop” by which a man is wrought out of in the womb of a woman.
Appendix of the Testament of Naphtali 10:7
It is therefore proper for man to lay to heart all these things, 8 Who hath created him, and Who it is that hath wrought him out of an ill-smelling drop in the womb of the woman, ……
-
By precept, the children of Men come from the seed (sperm) of man which is fashioned (made) to be flesh by being compacted in blood, fire (electricity), and water in the womb of a woman 9-10 months.
Wisdom of Solomon 7:2
And in my mother's womb was fashioned to be flesh in the time of ten months, being compacted in blood
2Es 8:8
For when the body is fashioned now in the mother's womb, and thou givest it members, thy creature is preserved in fire and water, and nine months doth thy workmanship endure thy creature which is created in her.
-
-After 9-10 months, the seed, now being made flesh, comes forth
2Es 4:40
So he answered me, and said, Go thy way to a woman with child, and ask of her when she hath fulfilled her nine months, if her womb may keep the birth any longer within her.
2Es 4:41
Then said I, No, Lord, that can she not. And he said unto me, In the grave the chambers of souls are like the womb of a woman:
-
-When the child comes forth, he cries as all other children do and is nursed with care.
Wisdom of Solomon 7:3
And when I was born, I drew in the common air, and fell upon the earth, which is of like nature, and the first voice which I uttered was crying, as all others do.
Wisdom of Solomon 7:4
I was nursed in swaddling clothes, and that with cares.
Wisdom of Solomon 7:5
For there is no king that had any other beginning of birth.
Wisdom of Solomon 7:6
For all men have one entrance into life, and the like going out.
-
According to precepts, the Spirit of Christ attested in Solomon that all men are brought into the world after the same manner and no king had any other beginning so that we can understand that the Lord went through the same process to transform into the form of a Man and take on himself the nature of the seed of Abraham.
Heb 2:16
For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
-
Isaiah saw that the Lord did the same thing that infants do to confirm that Solomon’s witness is true.
Ascension of Isaiah 11:17
17. And I saw: In Nazareth He sucked the breast like an infant, as was customary that He might not be recognized.
-
Now that we know how a man is formed according to scripture, let us turn to Isaiah’s vision after he saw the Lord come down from the 7th heaven to see what he beheld would happen in the earth for the Lord to be transformed into the form of a man through the seed of David:
Ascension of Isaiah 11:1-18
1 AFTER this I looked, and the angel who spoke to me and led me, said to me: "Understand, Isaiah son of Amos; for this purpose have I been sent from Ahayah."
-
(It was needful for Isaiah to pay attention to understand what transpired concerning Yache because it was known that the world would be confounded concerning where Yache was from.)
2. And I saw a woman of the family of David the prophet, whose name was Mary, and she was a virgin and was betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, a carpenter, and he also was of the seed and family of the righteous David of Bethlehem in Judah.
-
(Joseph was counted for the seed of David of Bethlehem in Judah, which is where Christ was prophesied to come forth from according to the prophet Micah [Micah 5:2] so Joseph was whom would be the son of the family David to fulfill the prophecy to bring forth the Christ in Bethlehem as prophesied.)
3. And He came into his lot. And when she was espoused, she was found to be pregnant, and Joseph the carpenter wished to divorce her.
-
(Christ came into Joseph’s lot by entering his seed when Joseph took the pleasure of sleep with Mary to impregnate her so that the seed of David would be conceived in Mary according to the flesh. {Rom 1:3; Acts 13:23; III Cor 2:6} According to the law, consummation and dowry are required for marriage, {Exo 22:16} by sleeping with Mary, she became his wife since the dowry was already paid for her in espousal. Now being Husband and Wife, Joseph was considering divorcing her since he didn’t perform the traditions of the wedding ceremony {Tobit 7:8-18;8:19} according to the people, wherein she would have been made a public example {Matt 1:19} by stoning her {Duet 22:21-24} for not being found a virgin because she was already pregnant while still living in her father’s house {Sir 42:10; Gen 38:24} since she had yet to be given unto Joseph to take her to his own house according to the law of Moses {Tobit 7:11-13} which was supposed to be after they had entered into the marriage chamber of her father’s house and had the wedding feast according to the traditions {Tobit 7:14-15;8:1,9,19-21; 10:7-12} for Joseph to lead her away to his own house where they could live together.)
4. But the angel of the Spirit appeared in this world, and after this Joseph did not divorce Mary, but kept Mary, but he did not reveal this matter to anyone.
-
(The Angel of the Spirit appeared and convinced Joseph to keep his wife by revealing to him that the child in her womb was of the Holy Spirit {Matt 1:21-24} and we know this witness is true because the Holy Spirit is Yache’s true Mother according to the Spirit. {Gospel of Thomas 101} Joseph didn’t reveal these things to anyone, so the people didn’t know that Joseph had consummated the marriage because he didn’t go through the traditions of the Jews, so they thought she was still merely espoused unto him, hence people referred to her as his “espoused wife” {Luk 2:5-6} after the fact because they had not fulfilled the traditions of the wedding feast. Yet the angel of the Spirit, Gabriel, understood what happened through the Holy Spirit according to the law and told Joseph not to put away his wife, {Matt 1:21} which she truly was according to the law {Exo 22:16; Deut 22:28-29} without the traditions of the people.)
5. And he did not approach Mary, though she was pregnant.
-
(It is not unlawful for Joseph to lay with his pregnant wife because the marriage bed is undefiled {Heb 13:4} but he did not approach her out of respect unto the Lord because he was told the child conceived was of the Holy Spirit and the Saviour by the Angel Gabriel. {Matt 1:20-21,24-25})
6. And he did not live with her for two months.
-
(She was found pregnant before they came together to live in Joseph’s house {Matt 1:18} and Isaiah saw that it took 2 months before they came to live together.)
7. And after two months of days while Joseph was in his house, and Mary his wife, but both alone.
8. It came about that when they were alone that Mary then looked with her eyes and saw a small infant, and she was astounded.
9. And after her astonishment had worn off, her womb was found as it was at first, before she had conceived.
10. And when her husband Joseph, said to her, "What has made you astounded?" his eyes were opened and he saw the infant and praised Ahayah, because the Lord had come in his lot.
-
(Joseph and Mary had confirmation by this vision that the Lord indeed came into his lot.)
11. And a voice came to them: "Do not tell this vision to anyone."
-
(It was a vision, not a real event, but the people of the land would be blinded as to the truth by this vision.)
12. But the story about the infant was spread broad in Bethlehem.
13. Some said, "The Virgin Mary has given birth before she has been married two months."
-
(The misconception about Mary stems from the lack of understanding that it was a vision that she had seen, not what really happened.)
14. but many said: "She did not give birth, the midwife did not go up (to her), and we did not hear any cries of pains." And they were all blinded concerning Him and they all knew about Him, but they knew not from where He was.
-
(The people were blinded concerning the fact that he was the Lord whose going forth was from everlasting [Micah 5:2]. They didn’t know that according to the inner man (spirit), He is the Son of the Highest {Luke 1:32} and child of Wisdom, {Luk 7:35} his true mother.{Gospel of Thomas 101} On the other hand, they weren’t blinded concerning the fact that Joseph was his father according to the flesh. {John 1:45; Luk 4:22})
15. And they took Him, and went to Nazareth in Galilee.
16. And I saw, O Hezekiah and Josab my son, and say to the other prophets also who are standing by, that it was hidden from all the heavens and all the princes and every alahayim of this world.
-
(The scriptures confirm that his true identity according to the Spirit was hidden from the principalities of this world so that they would not know that he was the Lord of Glory. {I Cor 2:8})
17. And I saw: In Nazareth He sucked the breast like an infant, as was customary that He might not be recognized.
18. And when He had grown up he performed great signs and miracles in the land of Israel and in Jerusalem.
-
Scripturally, the mystery of Christ, the son of Joseph the carpenter and Mary his mother, was that he was indeed the Lord and Son of the Living Alahayim. The fact that Joseph was his father according to the flesh was known by all the witnesses in the scriptures, including his mother Mary first of all:
Luk 2:41
Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover
Luk 2:42
And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
Luk 2:43
And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Yache tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
Luk 2:45
And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him
Luk 2:48
And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing
-
We have our first witness, Mary, to attest that Joseph was his father. Philip also attests that Yache is the son of Joseph.
Joh 1:45
Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Yache of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
-
All the people knew he was Joseph’s son as well.
Luk 4:22
And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?
-
They also knew his father and his mother, they just couldn’t understand how he came down from heaven not understanding the visions which Isaiah saw concerning him.
Joh 6:42
And they said, Is not this Yache, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
Mat 13:55
Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?
Mat 13:56
And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things?
-
The Lord Yache himself attests that he is the son of Joseph to confirm his lineage according to the flesh
Acts of Thomas ch. 2
And the Lord said to him, “I have a slave who is a carpenter, and I wish to sell him.” And having said this he showed him Thomas from a distance and agreed with him for three pounds of uncoined silver, and wrote a bill of sale saying, I, Yache, son of the carpenter Joseph, declare that I have sold my slave, Judas by name, to you Abban, a merchant of Gundaphorus, king of the Indians.
-
In the ancient times, not only the believers understood who Christ was according to the flesh, but the unbelievers themselves knew that Yache was the son of Joseph the Carpenter as well because his birth record was in Judea. Simon, the magician in days of Peter the Apostle, spoke concerning Yache’s ancestral origin according to the flesh.
Acts of Peter ch 14
Lo, here am I, Simon: come thou down, Peter, and I will convict thee that thou hast believed on a man which is a Jew and a carpenter's son
Acts of Peter Ch 23
But Simon said: Thou presumest to speak of Yache of Nazareth, the son of a carpenter, and a carpenter himself, whose birth is recorded (or whose race dwelleth) in Judaea.
-
Matthew the Apostle gave the birth record for us to confirm the genealogy of Christ according to the flesh from Abraham down to his father Joseph the husband of Mary.
Mat 1:1
The book of the generation of Yache Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
Mat 1:2
Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren;
Mat 1:3
And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram;
Mat 1:4
And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon;
Mat 1:5
And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse;
Mat 1:6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias;
Mat 1:7
And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa;
Mat 1:8
And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias;
Mat 1:9
And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias;
Mat 1:10
And Ezekias begat Manasses; and Manasses begat Amon; and Amon begat Josias;
Mat 1:11
And Josias begat Jechonias and his brethren, about the time they were carried away to Babylon:
Mat 1:12
And after they were brought to Babylon, Jechonias begat Salathiel; and Salathiel begat Zorobabel;
Mat 1:13
And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor;
Mat 1:14
And Azor begat Sadoc; and Sadoc begat Achim; and Achim begat Eliud;
Mat 1:15
And Eliud begat Eleazar; and Eleazar begat Matthan; and Matthan begat Jacob;
Mat 1:16
And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Yache, who is called Christ.
Mat 1:17
So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; and from David until the carrying away into Babylon are fourteen generations; and from the carrying away into Babylon unto Christ are fourteen generations
-
(Joseph was the 14th generation of Yache, so he was counted as the father of Christ just as all the forefathers from Abraham forward.)
-
As is seen by the vision of Isaiah and the other scriptures, Christ’s genealogy according to the flesh was known and understood by believers and unbelievers that He was the son of Joseph. The issue for unbelievers concerning Yache was concerning his divinity, not his ancestral origin according to the flesh. Simon the magician, sought to turn the people away from understanding that Yache was Alahayim.
Acts of Peter 23
But Simon said: Thou presumest to speak of Yache of Nazareth, the son of a carpenter, and a carpenter himself, whose birth is recorded (or whose race dwelleth) in Judaea. Hear thou, Peter: the Romans have understanding: they are no fools. And he turned to the people and said: Ye men of Rome, is Alahayim born? is he crucified? he that hath a master is no Alahayim. And when he so spake, many said: Thou sayest well, Simon.
-
In response to the reproaches concerning Yache’s divinity, Peter spoke on the mystery that the prophets spoke of to declare that it was known that people would not understand Christ’s true origin just as Isaiah said “all were blinded concerning him” in the Ascension of Isaiah.
Acts of Peter Chapter 24
And Peter said,”Cursed be your words against Christ. You spoke in these terms whereas the prophet says of him, ‘Who shall declare his generation?’ And another prophet says, ‘And we have seen him, and he had no form nor beauty.’ Is it a very little thing for you to go to battle? Behold, in the womb a virgin shall conceive.’ And another prophet says,’ We neither heard her voice, nor did a midwife come,’ and ‘ A stone cut out without hands and has broken all kingdoms,’ and ‘The stone which the builders rejected has become the headstone of the corner,’ and he calls him ‘ the tried, precious’ stone. And again, the prophet says of him, ‘ I saw him come on a cloud like the son of man.’ And what more shall I say? Men of Rome, if you knew the prophetical writings I would explain everything to you. It was necessary that through them it should be a mystery and the kingdom of Alahayim be completed. But these things shall be revealed to you afterwards.
-
Peter referenced Isaiah here because Isaiah saw the mystery of how Christ came from the 7th heaven to take on the form of a man, yet all were blinded and did not understand where Christ was from. Hence Isaiah spoke by the Spirit saying ‘who can declare his generation?” because men would not know His true nativity.
Ascenion of Isaiah 11:14-16
14. but many said: "She did not give birth, the midwife did not go up (to her), and we did not hear any cries of pains." And they were all blinded concerning Him and they all knew about Him, but they knew not from where He was.
15. And they took Him, and went to Nazareth in Galilee.
16. And I saw, O Hezekiah and Josab my son, and say to the other prophets also who are standing by, that it was hidden from all the heavens and all the princes and every alahayim of this world.
Isa 53:8
He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
-
The wisdom of the mystery that Christ was the Lord was necessary to be hidden in order to bring salvation to the world through his sacrifice for us all.
1Co 2:7
But we speak the wisdom of Alahayim in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which Alahayim ordained before the world unto our glory:
1Co 2:8
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
The Law and Testimonies confirm that Yache was the son of David through Joseph according to the flesh and the true mystery concerning him is the fact that he was the Christ and Son of Alahayim. This mystery could only be revealed by the Heavenly Father.
Mat 16:13
When Yache came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?
Mat 16:14
And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
Mat 16:15
He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
Mat 16:16
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living Alahayim.
Mat 16:17
And Yache answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
-
One can further search into the prophecies concerning Christ to see if He had to come from the seed (sperm) of the sons of David seed to fulfill the scriptures.
-
The prophesy by Isaiah of the Virgin conceiving seed:
Isa 7:13
And he said, Hear ye now, O house of David; Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will ye weary my Alahayim also?
-
(He is speaking to the house of David)
Isa 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
-
(The virgin of the house of David that shall conceive was Mary and she received the seed for conception from Joseph the son of David.)
Ascension of Isaiah 11:2
2. And I saw a woman of the family of David the prophet, whose name was Mary, and she was a virgin and was betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, a carpenter, and he also was of the seed and family of the righteous David of Bethlehem in Judah
-
The Apostles informed Paul so that it is known that the virgin Mary conceived from the seed of David)
3 Cor 2:4
For in the beginning I delivered over to you the teachings I recieved from the apostles who were before me, who spent their entire time with Yache Christ.
3 Cor 2:5
That our Lord Christ Yache was born from Mary, from the seed of David, when the Holy Spirit was sent from heaven into her by the Father, that he might come into the world and set free all flesh through his flesh.
-
Joseph is documented as the man who was of the seed and family of David so that we can understand where Mary received the seed of David from in her conception. Paul bear witness to the fact that Christ was made from the seed (sperm) of David according to the flesh so that it would be understood that it was necessary for him to come into Joseph’s lot to be the seed that Mary conceived.

Act 2:29
Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

-
As we see by the words of Peter, the fruit of a man’s loins according to the flesh is in reference to his seed (sperm) to help understand that Christ had come from the sperm of David’s sons to fulfill the promise.
-
Paul the Apostle supports Peter by the Spirit when he attests that Yache was made of the seed of David according to the flesh and truly the son of Alahayim according to the spirit.
Rom 1:3
Concerning his Son Yache Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
Rom 1:4

-
This is why the child conceived in Mary’s womb was “of the Holy Spirit” because She is his true mother according to the spirit.
Mat 1:20
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.

And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
Mat 2:14
When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
Mat 2:15
And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
Mat 2:19
But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt,
Mat 2:20
Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life.
Mat 2:21
And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel.
Mat 2:22
But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of Alahayim in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
Mat 2:23
And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
-
The people didn’t understand that it was necessary for Christ to move to Galilee after being born in Bethlehem so that he could be called a Nazarene. When Yache was older the people were again blinded concerning him and didn’t understand it was needful for him to have been raised up in Galilee to fulfill the words of the prophets.
Joh 7:40
Many of the people therefore, when they heard this saying, said, Of a truth this is the Prophet.
Joh 7:41
Others said, This is the Christ. But some said, Shall Christ come out of Galilee?
Joh 7:42
Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?
-
As we can see, they didn’t realize that He was born in Bethlehem where David was and it was needful for him to come out of Galilee, Yet to those who were called, they understood by the Spirit that he was the son of Joseph and the Son of Alahayim.
Joh 1:45
Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Yache of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
Joh 1:46
And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.
Joh 1:47
Yache saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
Joh 1:48
Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Yache answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.
Joh 1:49
Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of Alahayim; thou art the King of Israel.
Thus, we conclude that Yache is the son of Joseph according to the flesh and the true mystery was revealed that he is the Son of Alahayim and Christ the Lord from Heaven.
